The first striped shirt I owned was when I was 13 years old. It was over sized similar to Charlotte Gainsbourg's character in L'effrontée
. My mom brought it back from a trip to Japan and I pretty much stole it from her. I felt so French when I wore it and I still feel the same way when I wear one today.
Needless to say, I know I do not need more stripe tops in my wardrobe, but old habits really do die hard. The Summer 2010 J Crew Collection is perfect for stripe addicts and Francophiles like me..
