Tucker by Gaby Basora Fall 2010
I certainly love the Tucker Spring and Summer 2010 collection for the vibrant florals and prints, but Basora's Fall 2010 collection does not fall short on the coolness factor. Her inspiration for the fall collection is French novelist and screenwriter Marguerite Duras. Basora talks more about her inspiration for Tucker and the up coming collaboration with Target in this article.

Jamie Oliver
Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution is brilliant and I am deeply impressed by his dedication to change the way people think about food. The video is from his Ted award speech.

The Mighty Weekender

A good friend is looking for the perfect weekender bag. Here are some of my picks: Longchamp Pliage, Fealbags, Seabags, Calypso St. Barth, and lastly a laundry bag for the end of that weekend trip.

La Mariniére
The first striped shirt I owned was when I was 13 years old. It was over sized similar to Charlotte Gainsbourg's character in L'effrontée
. My mom brought it back from a trip to Japan and I pretty much stole it from her. I felt so French when I wore it and I still feel the same way when I wear one today.
Needless to say, I know I do not need more stripe tops in my wardrobe, but old habits really do die hard. The Summer 2010 J Crew Collection is perfect for stripe addicts and Francophiles like me.Take a look here.

Flower Petal Nests
Amazing flower petal nests made by a bee! Scientists recently discovered the rare Middle Eastern Bee, Osmia avoseta and are found in Turkey and Iran. These bees live in solitary and the nests are made for one baby bee. More photos found here.
