Summer Heat = Cutoff Denim Shorts

Since my legs are back in shape (Thanks to the Tracy Anderson method) I am ready to sport some denim cutoff shorts. Isn't the ACNE blouse in the first photo beautiful? The cut of the blouse is genius.

I ♥ Paris...Like Forever

                 

Feeling nostalgic this weekend I went through my pictures of my other life...the life when I did not have a toddler and a hubby (I am not complaining, bien sûr). I wish I was in Paris right at this moment...I have not traveled abroad since having O, and I am itching to go. I can not wait to take her there... she always tells me she wants to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower with me ♥. I think most of her interest in Paris comes from this book:

and maybe a little from me.

Cleaning Out my Closet: Free Charlotte Ronson Dress!

Sarah Magid's Goldies & Carrot Cake

Yet another birthday for my family we have one or two each month of the year, and my go to cook book for such occasions is Sarah Magid's Organic and Chic. I made the Goldies her signature dessert, which consists of chocolate cake, chocolate ganache, vanilla butter cream frosting, and edible gold powder...soooo delicious! My sister requested the carrot cake, which everyone loved. I think I am completely sugared out, but it was worth it!
