Strawberry Candied Jalapeno, Fume, Boccalone Prosciutto, Secret Breakfast sound more like a bag full of Harry Potter jelly beans than ice cream. You can look at the full selection of flavors on the Humphry Slocombe website. I can not wait to try a few flavors: Candied Ginger, Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee, Toasted Almond and Hibiscus Beet. I almost forgot to mention that I love ice cream/gelato infinitely, and I waste a lot of time searching on the web for new ice cream shops to try out...any favorites?

Do perfect jeans exist? Yes they do! Made in Heaven jeans fit perfectly and are made beautifully. I could imagine Jane Birkin wearing the Marrakesh...my favorite style it has such a great 70's vibe, but at the same time modern. Recently J Crew has teamed up with MiH and they are now selling a few styles. Check it out here and here.

Organic Carrot Cake with Lemon Ginger Cream Cheese Frosting

For my daughter's 4th birthday I made her favorite cake, which is carrot cake. She has a love for carrots that I find odd, but I am happy that she loves them so. I used Sarah Magid's recipe and it was delicious, especially the lemon ginger frosting.

To Dye For: A World Saturated in Color

The de Young Museum has planned a exhibition about tie dye set to open July 31. With the resurgence of tie-dye in contemporary fashion this exhibit can not come at a better time. The exhibit will feature 50 textiles from around the globe, which will show the common techniques used cross culturally in their own unique ways of making tie dye textiles. Included in the show is a paste resist Mongolian felt rug from the 15th-17th century, and more currently a tie-dye gown from Rodarte's 2009 collection.
