Giants Fever

Another Halloween is almost upon us and Olive has been talking (ever so much) of this years Halloween costume. At first she wanted to be a Ladybug/Cheerleader but her final decision is to be (drum roll please.....) Minnie Mouse/Cheerleader/Witch...we will see.

I do not own many skirts, but this women's outfit is a perfect mix of femininity and comfort. My mother is the only person i know who wears floral skirts all year around, and her collection of skirts is amazing. i might have to blog it one day...and "borrow" one while i am there. As for this outfit, take note of the woven ballet flats, the sunnies, and the aubergine shirt...oui, c'est parfait!

I can only imagine how soft and luxurious these hand loomed cashmere pillows and blankets are by Souchi.  These are available by special order and you can choose your own colors. I can see myself now... bundled up in cashmere, relaxing on my couch, sipping on hot chocolate and watching too much television. The Souchi web store also carries sonia by sonia rykiel (love!), and triian meteorite necklaces (on my Christmas list...is it too early for a list?).

Linger Linger

I am obsessed with the Rachel Comey Linger dress, especially in the Grey Cloque color. And my new RC obsession is the Detached Neck Cardigan in Gold Yummy. I love the styling that goes on over at Totokaelo...it makes me want to buy the whole outfit every time.

The French Oven Face Off

Spent an hour researching the Staub french oven and the Le Creuset french oven.

I own a few items from Le Creuset, but after reading reviews and forums about this very topic I am leaning toward the Staub French oven for various reasons. Any suggestions?

Prada Lips and Leather Gloves

Have you ever coveted something for so long that when it slips by you search on and on for it? In my case I have had two covets the Prada lips print (such a memorable print!) and Prada leather gloves. I finally got them out of my mind for a while...until i spotted the leather gloves from J Crew and the printed lips scarf from the Gap. These will do. I actually like the simplicity of the J Crew gloves compared to the Prada gloves. As for the lips on the Gap scarf  the lips are parted,  but i will get my fix.
